Ever have those days when you just want to stay cozy in bed? Yep, I have those days too.
And guess what? I still get up and start my day as planned.

No matter what’s going on in my life, I know what a blessing it is to show up for the people and causes I care about — my family, my friends, and you!
We don’t just stop showing up because life is happening and things get busy. But sometimes when we have that Monday morning feeling, it means we’re doing too much.
We all have responsibilities and commitments and it’s important to keep our word. After all, being in service to others allows us to truly make a difference — even when we’re tired or have a hard day.
It’s also important to notice when it’s time to show up for YOU. Making time for your emotional, physical and spiritual wellness is just as important as anything else on your calendar.
So, I invite you to have a look at your calendar and see just how much time you’ve dedicated to YOU this month — from lunch dates, to meditation, to workouts, to pedicures, etc.
How many times did you/will you show up for YOU this month?
Here’s a quick gauge for you:
- Between 0-3 – With empty or sparse YOU-time, guess what? It’s no surprise you’re feeling spent or even resentful. Now go schedule that massage!
- Between 4-6 – A taste of freedom is just a taste. Perhaps take a few more bites. I promise you’ll feel more satisfied!
- Between 7-9 – Regular self-care keeps you feeling centered and fed. Add a couple more dates with yourself and watch your happiness multiply.
- 10 or More – This sweet spot keeps you feeling relaxed, creative and abundant. And yes, it’s possible!
Whether or not you’ve made yourself a priority, your energy and emotions will reflect that. There’s no right or wrong here. Simply see where you are and make any necessary adjustments. Your quality of life is the focus here.
