Growing up I always knew my needs would be met.
In 8th grade, I remember an assignment titled, “All About Me.”
And I distinctly recall what I wrote…
“I want to have a happy family and a comfortable house by the beach.
I don’t need to be a millionaire. I just want to help people.”
In my 13-year-old-mind, the first career choices were the usual
dentist or lawyer routes. But neither of those felt right.
I wrote in my notebook, “I want to help people create magic in their lives.”
I wasn’t exactly sure what that meant at the time
but that is what came out onto the page,
and that is what I do today.
My teacher, Mrs. Martinson wrote, “Magnificent!” in green cursive felt tip pen,
so I thought perhaps she understood what I meant.
Over the years I’ve learned to trust my intuition.
Looking back, the young version of me was already wise, as all children are.
Money has rarely been a motivator for me, and I find this true for many of my clients, too. They don’t want to become millionaires (and there’s no judgment for those who do want that!)
The people I work with simply want to do what they love, help people in the process, and live a lifestyle that affords them the freedom to be themselves, enjoy life, and give back.
Can you relate?
In order to do that, money is an important factor…
When I first teach my clients that they can make money by
being more of who they are, it can be a foreign concept at first.
They wonder, “Can I actually make money by ‘just’ being ME?”
The answer is YES.
What does it require?
