If you want to create noticeable shifts in your energy,
I have a few tips to share that can help!

As Empaths who are energetically, and often even physiologically sensitive as well, our vibration can be affected positively or negatively based on the environments we are in and the company we keep.

First and foremost, I’m referring to the environment we create within ourselves. When you have created an environment of love for yourself, no matter the circumstances, you can come from a place of love since you are already holding that higher vibration.

This means that you take loving care of yourself on a daily basis. This also means you get to be conscious of the way you speak to yourself. Being conscious of the company you keep applies to yourself first!

As the saying goes, “Wherever you go, there you are.”

How you treat yourself and how you speak to yourself cultivate your energetic norm. If your energy is not where you like it, then reset it. If you notice you are beating yourself up about something, reframe it by choosing to find the positive or the lesson in the situation. Your interpretation is always a choice.

Choose the words you speak to yourself with care. Phrases like “I love and accept myself” and “I’m grateful for…” vibrate at much higher levels than words like “I hate…” or “I’ll never…” You get the idea. In fact, just seeing the words on the page has a strong effect.

Secondly, there are the environments we choose to participate in. Choose your conversations and your company wisely. Pause for a moment to check in with yourself before saying “yes” to an invitation that may be a potential energy drain, or simply something you don’t want to do. Obviously there are times when we have to be in compromising situations. However, practice the art of pausing to make sure that the majority of plans you put on your calendar energize you.

Finally, choose your social media and entertainment wisely. As Empaths, who naturally take in or match the energy of what we see or hear, it is crucial to make adjustments where there is misaligned energy. For example, if that great television series that everyone is watching makes your stomach turn or gives you nightmares, don’t watch it. On social media use your filters and options to create the social media environment that you want to experience. And don’t hesitate to unfriend or unsubscribe from groups or individuals that deplete you in any way.

To sum it up:

  1. Choose your thoughts and words with care. They create your inner environment.

  3. Be conscious of the social media and entertainment you allow into your space. The effects of misaligned information can remain long after you log out.

These are simple things you can do today to take care of yourself and shift the energy of your week.
