Whew!

The holidays are in full swing, and the final days of 2017 are upon us!

It’s busy times like these where it takes
the MOST discipline and Self-Love to step away

from the to-do list and center yourself.

I have a lot of things I need to do, too.
But you know what?

Right now, I’m choosing to put myself first.

Why, you may ask?

If I don’t take care of me, I may not get to do all that other stuff. Moreover, I want to stay in the high vibration of love, and it’s nearly impossible to do that if I can’t find the time and energy to take care of myself.

For many sensitive folks, it’s easy to be there for others.
But let me ask you a question.

Have you been putting yourself at the bottom or the top of the list?
…Just pause for a moment and take that in…

Where are YOU on that list?
Are you even ON that list?

Self-care is NOT all about manicures and massages. Let’s be honest, sometimes self-care means simply taking time to eat a meal or even go to the bathroom!

In addition to the health benefits of practicing self-care, there are other advantages you will discover when you love yourself enough to put yourself at the top of the list.

  • Self-care gives you more energy and helps you to be more productive in every area of your life.
  • A regular self-love practice allows you to stretch your plate in new ways. People who don’t make time of themselves are burnt out and resentful, and many of them have BIG dreams they really want to discover. Contrary to what it may seem, taking that time for YOU enables you to take on more responsibility and open up your creative channels.
  • People who practice self-care are happier because they understand the rhythm of input-output, give-take, work-rest. they know that they have to give themselves first and the rest flows more easily.

The more you love yourself, the more abundance you can attract and enJOY because you are vibrating to the higher frequency of LOVE. Self-care is one way to unlock that potential and expand your capacity to receive the abundance that is waiting for you.

Sadly, some people are surrounded by love and abundance but can’t fully realize it or appreciate those blessings because they are so frazzled and far away from LOVE. They have put themselves last on their list and are suffering greatly. Self-care opens the doorway to the love that only they can cultivate.

This concept is so simple that its benefits are often overlooked. The knowledge is useless until you put it into practice in your life.

So how do you do this when there are SO MANY THINGS TO DO??

All it takes is making the decision to stop for a moment and ground yourself into who you are apart from the responsibilities, the goals, and the worries — and simply BE in the flow of self-love. (See Self-Love Sheet below for suggestions.)
